FFA Annual Plant Sale

The FFA will hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, April 4, from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm in the greenhouse behind the WSHS gym.  Plants available include tomatoes, peppers, petunia hanging baskets, gerber daisies, geraniums and more.

Lego Club at the Library

March Lego Club is Thursday, April 16 at 4 pm and open to children 5 and up.  We will have a lot of legos here for children to use for building some great things.  This is just a time for the children to use legos they might not have access to at home.  Open to the public.
The Nancy Bonnette Library is located at 204 Park Street, NE and is open Monday thru Thursday 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm. We are closed from 1 pm to 2 pm. for lunch. If you have any questions, please call Branch Manager, LeWanda Fulmer.

McGhees' Mile Standardbred Racing in Aiken

Enjoy the family friendly atmosphere of Standardbred racing in Aiken at the Historic McGhees' Mile Track in Aiken, SC on March 28, 2015.  Gates open at 9:00am and the first race begins at 12:00pm.  Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the gate.  Purchase advance tickets at Aiken County Farm Supply, Aiken Saddlery, Carolina Tan & Salon in Graniteville, Boots, Bridles and Britches or Vinya's.  General parking will cost $5.00 per car.  Railside Parking is available for $40 a package which includes 2 general admission passes.  Location:  620 Banks Mill Road, Aiken, SC 29801.

Christ Central's Ladies "Night In"

Christ Central Institute is offering a night of pampering for the ladies of Wagener on March 20, 2015 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at the Expressions Cafe', 108 Park Street, Wagener.  Nail painting, desserts and devotion.  All ladies are invited to attend and you're welcome to bring your favorite nail color polish and a dessert to share.  There is no child care available and this event is for ladies only.  RSVP at 803.617.9254.  

WSHS Perfect Prom

The 2nd annual Perfect Prom will be held Thursday, April 30th at Misty Lakes from 9am - 1pm. The Perfect Prom is hosted by the Wagener-Salley High School M.O.B. Club, and is specifically designed for all students in Aiken County Public Schools who have a moderate to severe disability. Each invited student gets to bring one date, and together they get to experience a traditional prom with wonderful food, dancing and themed environment. This years theme is "A Night to Sparkle".
