"Our History and Heritage"
The Wagener Museum is a featured stop on the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor. Visit the Wagener Museum and journey back in time to the era of the family farm and "The Swamp Rabbit" train. The Wagener Museum displays artifacts and documents telling of the life and times of community residents since the coming of the railroad in 1887.

The museum has a blessing box placed Midtown on the Green in front of Nona and Pop's Coffee and Ice Cream Shop.
This box is not for food, this box is for essentials like toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and deodorant etc. Please contribute to the box when possible and if you need supplies, take as you need.

Grave Site of Wagener's First Mayor
The fencing at this site was provided by the Wagener Garden Club. This Grave is located in the Levi Gunter Cemetery off New Dailey Rd. off Highway 39, west of town.
Bicentennial Wagon
In 1976 all 50 states were represented in the Bicentennial Wagon Train Pilgrimage to Pennsylvania. In 1977, Wagener was honored to receive the official South Carolia Conestoga Wagon. It is now held proudly in Wagener's Wagon House located in front of the fire department on Highway 39. Open by appointment.
