You are invited to attend the 10th Annual Veterans Day Program at Wagener Salley High School presented by the JROTC Battalion on Nov. 11th at 10:50 a.m. in the school Gymnasium.

You are invited to a Revival at Bethcar Baptist Church starting Sunday, 11/9 at 11:00 with Rev. Owen Duncan.  This service will be followed by a covered dish lunch.

Revival will continue Monday - Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.

The 49th Annual Chitlin Strut will be held in the neighboring town of Salley on Friday and Saturday, November 28 & 29, 2014.    The Beauty Pageant will be held Nov.

Bring your family and friends to our small town on the weekend of December 5th and 6th, 2014 for a country Hometown Holiday.  Beginning at 5pm on Friday, we will have horse and carriage rides, local school performances and open house at a variety of businesses.  The evening will end with a Fireworks Extravaganza.

Saturday events will include a parade at 11:00 a.m. and a car show in the afternoon.  

Tonight is the opening night for the 2nd Season of the Lights on South Dixie.  Enjoy a hayride through beautiful Christmas light scenes and a Nativity scene.  Enjoy classic Christmas movies on an outdoor screen, toast marshmellows on a fire pit and sip hot chocolate from the concession stand.    November 28 - December 24, 2014.  Open Wednesday & Friday - Sunday, 6 - 10 pm.  Admission is $6 adults, $3 Kids 3 - 12.  Kids 2 and under are free.  Cash only.  Location is on South Dixie, about 3 or 4 miles out past the high school.  Large group reservations are accepted if you call ahead.
