Children ages 12 and under, supervised by an adult, are invited to walk the walking track in midtown Springfield and receive Halloween treats. October 31, 5 - 7 pm. No admission fee.
CTFK's annual Harvest Table will be held November 26, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. This is a free complete Thanksgiving dinner for anyone, no qualifications or advance tickets are necessary. The dinner is served take-out or eat-in. This is a great opportunity to eat your Thanksgiving dinner with other friends and families if you do not have your own family dinner scheduled. The Lady War Eagles are moving on to Round 2 of the playoffs with a game on Monday, October 31, 2016, at home, beginning at 6:00 pm. The team is asking for us to show up and make some noise! And? Wear your Halloween costume. NO MASKS OR CLOWN COSTUMES. And lets keep it family friendly.
The War Eagles will have a prize for the person who has the best costume. Also, fans in costumes will be allowed to serve the volleyball during intermission for a chance to win a prize. If your serve hits a pizza box, you will be entered for a chance to win a pizza certificate!
Sunday, October 30th, get a chili hot dog dinner for just $5 from 11 - 3 at the Pavilion. All profits will go towards Tyrell Staley's rehabilitation trip to Florida where he will work with paralysis recovery therapist Ken Bryant for a week in December.
