Miss WSHS Pageant

The Miss Wagener- Salley High School pageant will be held on Friday, February 10th. The theme of the pageant this year is "Women of the World". If you are going to participate, please see Mrs. Shackleford to select your country. Each country can only be used once. First come, first serve. Applications will be available before winter break. Entry fee will be $40.00 per contestant.
Arbor Day Presentation at WSHS Awards Shelby Nisbet
Thursday, January 12th at 1:30 pm Shelby Nisbet will be recognized for her accomplishments in Art through recognition of winning the Aiken Soil and Water Conservation poster contest. Part of Shelby's winnings is a tree to be planted in front of the school. The agricultural class, FFA Officers, art class, and the National Art Honor Society members will take part in a presentation about Arbor Day and Envirothon, as well as the planting of the tree. Shelby and Mrs. Shackleford will be presented with various goodies and a check for the purchase of art supplies.

Dixie Youth Baseball and Softball Registration
Wagener Dixie Youth Baseball and Softball registration is open to girls and boys ages 4 - 12. Registration fee is $65. Daily registration will be held Monday, Jan. 9 - Friday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Courtney Center or Roy Warner Park. Weekend registration will be at Roy Warner Park on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. - noon.

Grief Share Meetings Every Thursday Night
Grief Share meetings are held at Bethcar Baptist Church on Thursdays from 6 - 8 pm. The group, part of a nationwide program, ministers to those who have lost loved ones. Ed and Norma Mixon, the facilitators, invite those who are struggling with grief, recent or in the past, to join them.
