Fall Festival at New Holland Baptist Church

New Holland Baptist Church will host their annual Fall Festival from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on October 27th at the Garvin Recreational Park at the intersection of 2279 New Holland Road and 918 JB Swartz Road, Wagener.

The Jameson Road Band, a gospel band, will play from 11:00 am - noon. Antique farm machines will be on exhibit and the festival will also feature crafts, games and prizes, a small train ride, inflatables, and food.

Please bring your family and enjoy the fun.

Book Signing for The Thompson Family: Untold Stories from the Past

There will be a book signing event Oct 7 at 3 pm at the Aiken County Historical Museum for The Thompson Family: Untold Stories from the Past (1830 - 1960), a book by Dr. Walter B. Curry, Jr. which features families from our area including the only African American woman known to have served in a Confederate regiment. Autographed copies of the book will be available for $25.

Gospel Fest at Chalk Hill Baptist

You are invited to attend the gospel fest at Chalk Hill Baptist Church on September 29th, starting at 12:00 pm.  Featuring Chris Parker and Bryan Andrew Wilson. Erika Williams hosting and some of the performers include: the Trinity Inspirational Choir, Voices of Praise, Changed, Mended, Little Tribe of Judah, and more.
