BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS TO RECEIVE AN UPDATE ON WORK OF THE DISTRICT’S BACK-TO-SCHOOL TASK FORCE DURING SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
AIKEN, S.C. (July 1, 2020) – The Aiken County Board of Education will hold a special called meeting Tuesday, July 7, 2020, beginning at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of hosting a work study session related to back-to-school planning for the start of the 2020-21 school year.
During the work study session, board members will receive an update from Aiken County Superintendent King Laurence on the work of the school district’s Back-to-School Task Force.
All school board meetings are open to the public, although, with continued coronavirus concerns, the community is encouraged to view the meeting live on the District’s website, acpsd.net. Members of the public who desire to attend in-person should plan to arrive at the District’s Administrative Office on Brookhaven Drive in Aiken early as capacity will be limited to ensure social distancing.
