The 49th Annual Chitlin Strut will be held in the neighboring town of Salley on Friday and Saturday, November 28 & 29, 2014. The Beauty Pageant will be held Nov. 8th. Friday night usually includes a soup and cornbread supper and the Idol contest. Saturday morning usually begins with a pancake breakfast, followed by the parade. A carnival, live music, chitlin plates, hog calling and car show will be among the other events throughout the day. Check the online schedule when it is posted.
