South Aiken High School is hosting the first annual Aiken County Public School Weld Off on May 16, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the SAHS Welding Shop. South Aiken High School, Wagener Salley High School and the Aiken County Career Center are the only three welding programs for high school students in Aiken County.
Wagener native Oscar Rushton is the welding instructor for South Aiken High School's new welding program. Oscar and Mae Rushton have worked generously with students for many years and we are proud they are a part of our community.

9:40 - Welding Competition
12:00 - Lunch
1:00 - Judging of the Projects
1:45 - Presentation of Awards and Recognitions
2:15 - Closing Remarks
